CAPTELS wheel weighing scales and axle weighing scales have been designed to facilitate the weighing of agricultural vehicles fitted with conventional or low-pressure tyres, as well as road vehicles. They meet the most stringent requirements.
Thanks to their design, they can be installed in a pit or above ground. They are used to control material inputs/outputs or, more simply, to prevent possible overloading.
Dynamic weighing mode, or weighing on the move, is very advantageous (the vehicle is weighed without stopping at up to 8 km/h). There is no need to get out of the vehicle and the ticket is printed automatically.
Time savings, measurement accuracy and ease of use are the key advantages compared with the static weighing procedure, which requires the vehicle to stop on the scales for each axle.
For above-ground use, and in order to reproduce a flat surface and avoid significant load transfers, runways are required when weighing vehicles with tandem or tridem axle groups.
