RMIG offers a wide range of perforation patterns and sizes at very competitive prices. Two types of perforation optimise the throughput and service life of your grate: the classic round holes and the Perforcon.
Example: round hole perforation for hammer mills with the maximum open area and thickness, with round holes from 2mm diameter and up.
Example: Perfocon with hole diameter from 0,20 mm to 2,0 mm and up to 2,0 mm thickness.
Perfocon - easy discharge with small holes in thick material
The Perfocon is an RMIG exclusive, a special product offering shaped holes that allow easy discharge of particles through the grate, even with small holes in thick material. It will deliver perfect results for your grinding operations. The production techniques we use make it possible to produce holes much smaller than the thickness of the material.
Perfocon RM is available in mild steel, galvanised steel and stainless steel.
In a mill, the open area percentage determines particle size and grinding efficiency.
The grate must be designed to withstand mechanical stress while offering the highest possible open area percentage.
Staggered round holes offer the best compromise between strength and open area percentage.
