CLAAS LEXION 8000-5000. Control concept.
The new generation LEXION features a fundamentally reworked control concept. This includes a new touch-sensitive CEBIS and a newly designed armrest. The driver can call up important settings and make adjustments using the machine silhouette in the CEBIS touchscreen.
Navigating in the CEBIS is either done by touch or using the rotary push switch in the control panel. The favourites management provides the option to store seven frequently used settings. These can then be called up on the control panel via the C-Motion ground speed control lever and adjusted using the rocker switch behind the C-Motion lever.
The driver can also allocate important machine information to three additional display areas in the CEBIS. In addition, the control concept also includes additional direct adjustment switches in the armrest. Using these the driver can apply important threshing unit settings independently of the CEBIS.
To make control easier for inexperienced drivers, it is now possible to select user types in the CEBIS. Advanced machine settings can then only be applied by experienced drivers.
