New Valtra G Series tractor models 5ème generation

The G Series is the first series of the 5ème generation of Valtra tractors and, at the same time, an entirely new model series that sits between the A and N Series. The G Series is also the first tractor in the 100-145ch range to offer SmartTouch as well as precision farming functions. As a result, the SmartTouch armrest is now available on all Valtra tractors in the 100-400ch range. Valtra Connect telemetry is also standard on G Series Versu models, while powerful load-sensing hydraulic systems are standard on Active and Versu models. The new G Series is available in four equipment levels: Basic, Comfort, Technology and Technology Pro. Customers will also be able to order their G Series tractors, built in Sweden, from the factory with tailor-made features thanks to Unlimited Studio.
?The G Series is typically a versatile farm tractor that can be used, for example, for front loader work, spraying, animal feed production and vegetable growing using smart farming techniques. Using a versatile tractor like this must be easy and safe, with comfortable working conditions, a powerful linkage, high hydraulic capacity and excellent visibility. As a result, the G Series is compact, yet still powerful,? says Mikko Lehikoinen, Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
The new Valtra G Series is easy to use, maintain and buy. It was designed for demanding front loader tasks, and the starting point of its design was to offer the best visibility and comfort. It can be specified according to individual needs, and its operating costs can be accurately predicted thanks to tailored financing solutions and service contracts. Valtra's Connect, Care and Go aftersales services make using the tractor predictable and worry-free.
The G Series has a modern and spacious cab with 5,7 square metres of glass, including 0,35 square metres in the panoramic roof. Cab suspension further improves comfort, as do heated mirrors, air conditioning, a lower cab heater and USB sockets, which are available with the auxiliary power unit. Versu models equipped with the SmartTouch interface can access the same SmartFarming features as the larger N and T models. Active models are also available with autoguidance and precision farming functions that can be activated via the SmartTouch Extend terminal.
The G Series was designed to be the ideal tractor for front loader tasks. It offers excellent visibility, good weight distribution, a chassis-integrated front loader, a hydraulic assistant that automatically increases engine speed according to load, and the Live 3 function, which allows up to three different front loader functions to be used simultaneously. In addition to work in fields and on farms, the G Series is also suited to forestry tasks, as Valtra tractors always have been. For forestry work, the G Series can be equipped with narrow mudguards, a steel fuel tank, polycarbonate glass, forestry tyres, a rotating seat and cab protection. The auxiliary lighting package provides four work lights at the front and six at the rear, which also switch on automatically when reversing, making work in the dark easier.
The G Series has a 24+24R transmission with four ranges and six Powershift speeds. Shifting from range B to C and between ranges C and D is automated, which makes the tractor even easier to use, especially on the road. In traditional Valtra style, the parking brake is integrated into the forward-reverse shuttle lever, and the driver can also set transmission settings. The slowest working speed is only 120 metres per hour, which is ideal for growing vegetables, for example.
Versu models can be operated with the single lever only, and the other models do not require much use of the clutch pedal thanks to AutoTraction. The hill hold function keeps the tractor stationary even on steep slopes without having to use the brakes. HiTech models have an open-centre hydraulic system that delivers 100 litres per minute, while Active and Versu models have a closed-centre hydraulic system that delivers 110 litres per minute. Up to four hydraulic valve blocks are available at the front and rear. Versu models are available with up to five rear valves and up to four front valves. The minimum rear lift power is 50 kN over the entire lift range and 30 kN at the front. A front PTO is also available. A ground-speed PTO is available at the rear with two additional PTO speeds.
The new G Series is powered by reliable 4,4-litre four-cylinder AGCO Power engines. The compact engine size allows a sloping bonnet that offers excellent visibility. The engine complies with Stage V emissions without exhaust gas recirculation. Electronic management and 1600-bar Bosch common rail injection provide quick response and plenty of torque over a wide range of engine speeds. All models already offer extra power when driving at B5 or more. Valtra's traditional Sigma Power boost is also available for the PTO.
The G125 Eco is the energy-efficient EcoPower model that allows the driver to select Power or Eco mode, which reduces engine speed while increasing torque by up to 555 Nm. Valtra EcoPower models respect nature, your money and also your hearing thanks to their low noise.
