With 51 sold units in 2017, Valtra maintained the leader place with a staggering market share of 32,3%. In the second place there was New Holland and on the third place Valtra’s sister brand Massey Ferguson. Valtra has improved its market share significantly, since the market share was 25% in 2016.
The main seller in Iceland is the N Series around 110-130 hp. In 2017 a lot of high horsepower N Series models such as Active, Versu and Direct and a few medium sized T Series were sold. The new SmartTouch, introduced in 2017 was well received by Icelandic customers.
