Description
The compactor compacts screenings and sieving residues in livestock effluent and wastewater treatment plants, thereby reducing the liquid content of the discharged waste by nearly 50%.
Pressing is carried out by a shaftless Archimedes screw that pushes the residues into the filtering drum, at the end of which a gate maintains back-pressure.
The drainage liquids are collected and channelled to the storage pit.
