Description
It enables a large number of animals to be guided towards the milking parlour.
They are calmly directed from the waiting area to the platforms, without stress.
The waiting area must be sized for the entire group of cows to be milked (1,2m²/VL).
The floor of the waiting area must be non-slip, easy to clean and allow effluent to drain (slope of 3 to 5%).
The gate, mounted on a metal beam, is fixed by two side rails and runs the full length of the waiting area.
Moving slowly, it gives the cows time to move forward safely.
