Description
DRAINAGE: Water is stored in a tank installed at the end of the alley or alleys. This system is simple and economical.
FLUSHING : A wave of water is enough to evacuate the droppings, even when mixed with straw. Washing the barns prevents crust formation and fouling of the concrete. It also contributes to improved hygiene and a healthy environment for the animals. This cleaning system washes 1 to 20 barn alleys.
COLLECTION : Water and droppings are collected and sent to a treatment pit. No intervention is required. A simple channel is enough to recover the liquid. It is possible to protect the passages above the collection channel with a hydraulic hatch.
HOMOGENISATION : Repeated stirring of the liquids arriving from the alleys promotes good homogenisation, a preparation favourable to efficient separation. The power of the mixer must be chosen according to the volume of the pit and the condition of the materials to be treated.
SEPARATION : This phase is the heart of the system. The vibrations of the screen are enough to separate the liquids from the solid matter. The liquid passes through the mesh of the screen and is collected in a reception tank. The separated materials stay in a heap and heat up very quickly. The manure is more compact, highly concentrated and easily compostable.
SPRAYING : A pump draws off the weakly loaded liquids. They are used to irrigate meadows close to the buildings. The sprayed area is 120m long and up to 24m wide.
STORAGE : The purified liquids obtained during separation are stored in a tank. The liquid will be reused for a new flushing cycle.
